Screen mirroring utility for PC

LetsView is a free utility program that was developed by Wangxu Technology Co. Ltd. for PC devices. It is a cross-platform screen mirroring tool that lets users mirror smartphones to their computers and vice-versa. It lets them cast applications and media using various supported protocols, including AirPlay and Miracast.

LetsView works in a similar way to ApowerMirror and TeamViewer in that it allows for seamless switching from phone to PC displays. Setting the tool up is simple and uses Wi-Fi to establish wireless connections between devices. The casting feature integrates with smartphones well and can be enabled from the quick access settings.

How does LetsView work?

If you have used TeamViewer and ApowerMirror before, LetsView pretty much works the same way. It lets you replicate what's on your phone's screen to your PC by utilizing your Wi-Fi connection. The reverse can also be done as it allows you to cast from your PC to your mobile. Once a connection has been established, you can easily switch the feature on by selecting in on the screencasting menu or quick settings toggle, depending on your mobile OS platform.

LetsView appears as a floating window on your device and offers various features. The first one is the standard option of taking a screenshot. Next, you can opt to record a video of whatever is happening on your screen. Meanwhile, a Whiteboard functionality lets you draw or mark up on the screen, which will come in handy during presentations. Lastly, you have full-screen or always-on-top modes to round out its feature set.

Finally, you can change various options for displayaudio, and capturing in the Settings menu. You can even enable hotkeys on your computer. Do take note of a few things, however. First, you can only mirror your screen if both your devices as using the same Wi-Fi network. Second, there is a limit to how long you can cast your display, and you will need to re-connect again to resume using it.

A decent screen mirroring program

If you are looking for a simple screen mirroring tool to use with your devices, LetsView is a decent choice to consider. It doesn't offer any advanced features and comes with its own set of limitations, but considering that it's free, it can't be faulted too much. Besides, using it is simple and works as intended. For most users, that will be enough.

    • Cross-platform compatibility
    • Simple and easy-to-use

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.
